The Syrian dialect is an umbrella term for the Levant dialect spoken in Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan. This dialect is widely understood all over the Arab world, and is spoken everyday by the majority of Arabs in Berlin. Whether chatting with people or ordering falafel, this dialect can be practiced on a daily basis.

It is advisable to learn Standard Arabic first because it is the official written language of administration and media in all Arab countries. In our standard Arabic course, you will systematically learn the structure of the language. We have developed our own teaching materials for this
purpose, and attached great importance to designing lessons which are communicative and diverse.

The Kalamon Institute for Arabic Language offers courses for children with a maximum of 5 to 6 children per course. At our institute your child will learn to read and write the Arabic language, write, read, and
speak in a playful and interactive way, and in a safe environment. Previous knowledge of the language is not necessary for your child to
participate in a course.

The Egyptian and Palestinian dialects are particularly interesting: both dialects have their own characteristics and peculiarities. They are generally well understood in the Arab world and are two very old, yet beautiful and wordy dialects worth immersing yourself in.

Classic Arabic
It is advisable to learn Standard Arabic at the beginning of your learning process, because Standard Arabic is the official, written, and media language in all Arabic countries. In a standard Arabic course, one can systematically learn the structure of the language. We have developed our own teaching materials and attach great importance to making the lessons communicative and varied.

Children's courses
The Kalamon Institute for Arabic Language offers children's courses with a maximum of 5-7 children per course. With us your child learns to read and write the Arabic language in a playful way in a protected environment. Your child does not need to have any previous knowledge to participate in the course.

Palestinian Dialect
The Palestinian dialect is particularly interesting: with the other dialects of the Levant (Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan) related. Hence, Palestinian becomes Arabic everywhere Space well understood. It is an old, beautiful, and verbose Arabic dialect, it's worth diving in.

More From Us

Unsere interaktiven Intensivkurse sind für jene, die in kürzester Zeit Arabisch erlernen möchten. Die Laufzeit der Kurse beträgt zwei Wochen und ist mit maximal acht Schüler’innen ausgelastet. Die Intensivkurse werden in den Niveaus A1 – B2 angeboten. Am Kursende werden die Schüler’innen ein erweitertes Verständnis der arabischen Grammatik besitzen sowie reichlich neue Vokabeln beherrschen.

Die arabische Kalligraphie stellt eine der wichtigsten Künste der arabischen und islamischen Kultur dar. Es gibt viele unterschiedliche Schriftarten und Stile, je nachdem zu welcher Zeit und in welcher Region sie entstanden sind oder wofür sie verwendet wurden.
Diese Kunst ist uns über Jahrhunderte bewahrt geblieben, indem sie an traditionellen Schulen kontinuierlich von Lehrer an Schüler weitergegeben wurde.
