General Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using any service provided by Kalamon- Institute for Arabic Language.
§ 1 Scope and provider
(1) The General Terms and Conditions regulate the service relationship between Kalamon Institute for the Arabic Language and you, in the version valid at the time of the conclusion of the service.
(2) Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are rejected.
§ 2 Conclusion and agreement of the service(s)
(1) Services on this portal can be concluded in German as well as in English.
(2) By registering, the customer accepts these GTC. With the registration a service relationship between Kalamon-Institute for Arabic Language and the customer arises, which is governed by the guidelines of these GTC.
(3) By ordering a service, the registered customer enters into a service relationship. The user will be informed about the respective chargeable service and the terms of payment before the conclusion of this service relationship. The service relationship arises when the orderer confirms the service and payment obligation by clicking the “register now” button.
(4) You agree to receive invoices electronically. Electronic invoices will be sent to you by e-mail.
§ 3 Description of the scope of services
The scope of services of Kalamon Institute for Arabic Language consists of the following services:
1. language lessons (Arabic colloquial or Modern Standard Arabic) online or offline.
2. music lessons (oud or solfège)
3. calligraphy lessons
4. consulting about the Arabic world, language as well as culture and traditions
5. preparation of translations
§ 4 Prices
All prices are listed on the website (www.kalamon.de) of the Kalamon Institute for Arabic Language.
§ 5 Registration and terms of payment
(1) Any fee due shall be paid to Kalamon Institute for the Arabic Language in advance, at the time it is due, without any deductions.
(2) Certain payment methods can be excluded by the provider in individual cases.
(3) The following means of payment can be used:
1. cash
2. PayPal
3. bank transfer / instant transfer
§ 6 Condition of Participation
(1) If a service has been booked, participation is only valid upon receipt of the service fee.
(2) In order to make a binding reservation for a course place, payment of the full course fee in advance is required no later than 10 days prior to the start of the course. There is no registration fee.
(3) If payment of the service fee is not made within the specified time, a processing fee of 25 euros will be charged.
(4) In case of non-attendance or discontinuation of a course, there is no right to a refund of the non-attended day or complete course.
§ 6.1 Course organization
(1) The scheduled organization of a language course requires a minimum number of 6 participants. If the required number of participants is not reached at the scheduled time, the course fee already paid will be refunded. Alternatively, the agreed course start date can be postponed or, after obtaining confirmation from the course participants, the course can also be started with the existing number of course participants. If the course start has been agreed with less than 6 course participants, the 12 weeks will be shortened depending on the number of course participants. The course participants will be informed about the number of weeks in advance.
(2) No classes or other activities will be held on weekends and official holidays. Unless they are scheduled weekend courses or similar.
§ 7 Cancellation policy
(1) Right of revocation
You have the right to revoke this service within ten days without giving any reason.
The revocation period for services is ten days from the day of the
conclusion of the service.

By means of a clear statement about your decision to revoke this service. If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you (e.g. by e-mail) a confirmation of receipt of such revocation.
§ 8 Liability
(1) The liability for personal injury and property damage for the Kalamon-Institut für arabische Sprache GbR and its employees is limited to intent and gross negligence. In particular, the Institute shall not be liable for itself or its employees for the failure of its services due to force majeure, negligence or other reasons for which it is not responsible.
(2) The conclusion of sufficient health, accident and liability insurance is recommended. The Kalamon-Institut für arabische Sprache GbR does not assume any liability in this area. The course participant is obliged to comply with the course and house rules in force at the institute.
§ 9 Data protection
The course participant agrees that the Kalamon Institute for the Arabic Language GbR may electronically record and process his/her data for the proper execution of the registration and billing procedure.
§ 10 Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
